Setting up an email account, conducting an effective online job search, and completing online applications.
An appropriate email address is the key to applying to jobs in most industries today. Learn how to use free email sites, set up and use email, and how to use the internet to conduct an effective job search. Practice filling out online applications and learn tips as to how to answer those pesky "situational judgement" questions found on many applications today. Learn what "answers" the employers are really looking for. Laptops will be provided so that individuals can set up email accounts, fill out online applications, and practice doing an online job search during this workshop.
