2. Kingston Youth Job Fair--Wed 4/4/12 9:00 am to 11:00 am @ Business Resource Center in Kingston.

Youth ages 16 to 21 yrs old are invited to attend.
To participate youth must:
- Complete work readiness training
- Be between 16-21 years of age
- Bring a completed application or resume
- Be interview ready
- Be dressed appropriately to be allowed into Job Fair
Dress code = clean and neat appearance and includes the following restrictions: no t-shirts, no hats, no tank tops, and no mini skirts

Ulster County Workforce Investment Board Youth Council
The Youth Council is a subcommittee of the Ulster County Workforce Investment Board as mandated by the Workforce Investment Act of 1998. The primary mission of the Youth Council is to develop & implement workforce development issues as they pertain to youth.
The Youth Council consists of members representing organizations or businesses that serve or hire youth. Members of the Youth Council shall have a special interest or expertise in youth policy; shall be representatives of youth service agencies, shall be members of the Workforce Investment Board and shall coordinate youth activities in the local area; develop portions of the local plan that relate to eligible youth; shall recommend eligible youth service providers in accordance with WIA Section 123, subject to the local Board approval and shall conduct oversight with respect to eligible providers of youth activities in the local area.
